I wasn't expecting that

Travelling up the A9 at around 5am on Sunday morning, just coming up a slight incline after the A95 junction at Aviemore the headlights picked out something yellow in the centre of the road. I was trying to work out what it was and as I got closer it became apparent that it was a dark brown 4x4 broadside across the road with no lights or hazards on :open_mouth: :open_mouth: The yellow was part of the rear number plate that I had seen.
Luckily it was adjacent to a lay-by and by the time I stopped I was at the side of the car, unit nosed into the said lay-by.I looked down but couldn’t see anyone in it.
I was trying to find my torch so I could check it out when it drove across the front of me into the lay-by. I went to check on the driver and ask if he was O.K. In a broad Yorkshire accent he replied ā€œAye me owd lad,I’m aw rate, ah wa feelin’ a bit sleepyā€  :open_mouth:
I left him in the lay-by,but as I drove along was thinking if alcohol could be involved (couldn’t smell any to be honest). Should I call the rozzers  999 or 101  Emergency or not
The more I thought about it though, probably what had happened was he had stopped for a kip but hadn’t put the handbrake on and the car had rolled back across the road (the lay-by is at the top of the incline).
Talk about expect the unexpected

Weren’t dozy by any chance were it
