Hi all,
I passed my tet in 1994 and have C1E restricted on my licence. I did my drivers CPC 2 years ago. I have several years of 7.5t box / curtainsider and recovery vehicle driving experience, I drive a 30foot recovery 7.5t truck every day. Now I want to do my class 2 / C test. I have provisional already and cpc card. What else do I need to do before practical training?

Provisional = got
Theory = needed as cannot take practical test without passing theory
Contact a good trainer who will “hold your hand” through the whole process and organise everything for you.

That could be perceived as a bit of a lazy attitude, you’ll fit right in to this industry!

Brilliant, come on here asking for advice and have a pop at one of the most helpful, genuine and experienced guys on here - you probably couldn’t pick anyone better placed to advise you. Mind boggles.

What a bizarre response to one of the most helpful posters on here who actually RUNS a training school.
Wouldn’t want to be your instructor as you obviously aren’t prepared to listen to advice despite asking for it.

To the OP, look up the word “Metaphorical” as that was what Pete inferred, he has no intention of ACTUALLY holding your hand, just help and guidance… Biting people’s heads off is just kicking yourself in the arse pal, do you not see that it’s an attitude that ONLY hurts you■■?
