I’ve been building an AI route planner for couriers — looking for honest feedback from UK drivers

Hi everyone,

I’m currently developing an AI-powered route planner for courier drivers and small delivery teams as part of my final year project (university thesis).

The goal is to make something that actually helps drivers plan their daily drops faster, handle traffic automatically, and save a bit of fuel and time.

I wasn’t sure if it’s allowed to share a website link here, so I didn’t include it — but I’m mainly trying to understand what features couriers actually need, and whether something like this would even be useful in real life.

I’d really appreciate any honest feedback or ideas about what works and what doesn’t.

Never done parcel work. But surely DHL amazon or who ever have there own software PDAs that sort your route ino best order

Thanks for your comment!
I’m mainly looking for feedback from experienced couriers to understand what works well in real delivery operations and what could be improved.
If you’re curious, you can check out the project at navvico.com.
I know it’s still missing a lot of things — I’m improving it step by step.
It’s not a commercial product yet — as I mentioned before, it’s a university project, and I’m using it to learn and develop my skills.
Your experience and feedback are really valuable to me.
