Yesterday on the M62 w/b I saw a B&Q unit pulling a fridge!
I think they use them for transporting plants

Yeah it’s a new market they are exploiting, they freeze the plants and then thaw them out to sell in store when the plant isn’t in season.
Think you’ll find you can set a fridge to all sorts of temperatures not just frozen
Glad to be of assistance
They run on a + temperature. Cannot remember what it is as its been a while since I was on will them via agency.
I did a job for one of our agency customers last week, pulling a fridge with plants in for Homebase, and the delivery note instructions said the fridge had to run at +16
Ken.

Blimey! Suntan temp almost
i think you will find its wincanton truck on plant deliveries just painted in b&q colours
Plants and rolls of turf I think that’s in them fridges.
I see turf growers have them, keeps the rolld cool to stop the grass heating up (decomposing), going yellow and dying…
Sad info I know, did a horticulture course when I left school.

Can you claim this towards your dcpc ?
I saw one on the m5 yesterday pulling a container…
We had a couple of fridge motors on Ontime Automotive for carrying cars, they run at plus or minus
Thats nothing. Last week I saw a WH Malcolm lorry towing a dishwasher. Beat that.
They are B&Q units and trailers operated by Wincanton out of Middleton. There are a dozen of them running all year. The fridges are set to run constant at +12.
The one you saw had probably come from the growers in East Yorkshire.
