POLES have eight fingers and two thumbs, then start again! 1762 cases X said digits, equals three hours plus! 
Or mabe they have to translate every product to their own language then back to English again…

Same here. Did tesco’s magor last Saturday in and out 55mins. This week had tesco’s purfleet for 10am on wednesday but got held up on A14 with broken down truck and ended up having to but a 45 in at birch hanger witch put me into purfleet for 11:30 I thought here we go but to my suprice told to go on bay40 notes in back and sit in waiting room 1hr later on the way out of there.
Then yesterday Livingston for 9 arrived early straight onto a bay and leaving for 9:30.
I hope this is a turning point for tesco’s because I’ve had many a boring hour sat in there prison I won’t hold my breath.

Bugger that. As hourly paid, I’m quite happy to sit in a six-deep queue, and get some shuteye!

35 mins for me this morning. Tesco Magor. Must be some kind of record
Don’t often do any RDC deliveries, but done Tesco Livingston a few months back with 6 plts of crisps and from booking in at the gate to exiting the depot was only 45mins. Not bad I thought.
Anything more than 20min is far too long for me, cash & carries are the way forward
The problem with tesco is the inability to get some shut eye, otherwise they can take as long as they like for me…
You’ve got 2 in front of you, and one is entering the gate just as you turn up.
You pull up behind the remaining one in the queue.
THe one who’s just gone in is going to take about an hour, what with a rsu pickup and all.
Ditto the second one, when he finally emerges.
I make that two hours known up front you ain’t going anywhere!

I’ve been back on chill for just over a year now and TBH tesco have been the best out of all of them for getting tipped. My record was at Hinckley, 26 pallets in 26 minutes from driving in the gate to driving out of it again! They can all do it when they want to!

I just imagine a load of people running like Benny Hill (complete with music) and very fast forklifts

Could be right there mate. I’ve noticed the same at cash and carries over the past year or so. You used to arrive at one and could guarantee at least 2 or 3 trucks in front of you with full loads waiting to tip. Now you turn up and there’s no queue. Tipped right away. And if there is anyone in front of you, they’ve only got a few pallets. Sign of the times I reckon.
How can anyone shop there? after all the talk in the week about them using illegal immigrants in their warehouses 
Tescos i find a nightmare, only done goole, hatfield and purfleet but with us running tall trailers your waiting a good half hour for a bay sometimes especially goole. Id say goole is the worst for me outta them 3
