i’ve just had a week off and this morning i was sorting my hear out and my card wasn’t where it should be. I won’t know if i have lost it until i turn the house and car upside down but if it has gone how do i get a replacement, how much and how long does it take?

then fill it in and follow the replacement card instructions on form, you need to write down your nearest VOSA or DVLA centre for you to collect it from i think 
check all drawers etc etc did you not leave it in your truck

i was in a rush cos i finished late it definately got downloaded before i left work so it’s not in the truck. I vaguely remember putting it somewhere SAFE thinking i’d put it in its usual place when i had more time.
How long does new card take do i have to drive analog truck in the mean time.

or he’ll find it in his cab, get pulled for routine and wheel tapper is on verge of cardiac arrest when he downloads the card and see mr b has done 23 hours daily driving/other work with no breaks for the last 5 days and has overspeeds reaching 150kph.

from you posting in theory about 5 days, but with royal mail at the min about 4 months 
yes you can for 15 days, need to a manual print out at start of shift with your name drive licence number etc and then take one at the end of the shift, so 2 each day until it arrives, but make sure you send if off first so you get pulled you can explain.

panic over. instead of putting it where i normally keep it i’d put it in a differant pocket no less effort to do that than than put it away properly
