Eh?? You’ve got loaded tets up top and an empty tank on the bottom, is that right?

Surely to god that is top heavy unless they load water as ballast in the tank. I would not be taking a top loaded decker with nowt in the liquid bottom deck for love nor money.

unless they are empty?

my heart bleeds £120 a shift ■■? :open_mouth:

A full load of tets gets you up to around 44T depending on actual product carried.

He’ll be rostered on for weekend work, early starts, late starts etc., not that clever really. Probably working for PCL rather than direct for Arla so that 12 hours will be very elastic!

I used to do a lot of Arla work when I was on for Moran, never pulled one of these but spoke to a lot of the drivers and they all said they drove really well.
I thought they’d be a nightmare when going in tram lines on motorways or adverse cambers on roundabouts etc.

I’ve seen these advertising for Weekend drivers at Aylesbury & Hatfield.
I’m looking for some weekend work, what type of work is it ?
Trunking - store deliveries - shunting ?

Pcl is all sorts arla is trunking and bulk farms only

Arla, like most firms want their pound and a half of flesh and you may well lose that pound and a half of flesh off your fingers when you trap them with a tet laden with milk…ouch also collecting dozens and dozens of empty tets can be a real pain,(just like supermarket trolleys, they go where they want to go) never done the deckers but id be going steady round the twists and turns
