After passing my class one last month (wooohoo) and having a horrendous trial day at Eddie’s (boooooo), I have been offered a job at Currie Europpean. Pay not fab but I don’t care!
Question is, are there any of you truckers that work / worked there and can advise me what to wear tomorrow lol?? The Mrs says I should wear black pants and a polo shirt but I think jeans would too fit the criteria of “smart appearance”. What does everyone else think?

Best not turn up wearing “black pants and a polo shirt” - put some trousers on!!

I told the Mrs about the peephole bra but she’s not up for it but I’m sure I can customise one for her!!
Well done pal, 1st job so the pay aint as important as the experience. Once youve got that you can always look for something that pays more.
If your sticking with the peephole bra get some plasters, your nips will get chaffed on your tee shirt and also crotchless ■■■■■■■ are a must.

In all seriousness I would go in one of those £4 pairs of black cargo pants from Primark with the pockets all over the place because they look the part for a working geezer but they also don’t make a statement about you, unlike jeans- and I say this as someone who wears jeans for 99.999% of his waking life.

Seeing as it’s a Scottish firm, wouldn’t a kilt be appropriate?
well done on the job chap , yeah i’d also go for cargo trousers & polo shirt , as for the lesser money , don’t worry about that you may well like the job enough not to worry about the money too too much , i’d rather have a good job i like for a smaller ammount than good money on a job i didn’t like
i know curries very well and it wont make a difference how you dress as long as you soldier on and do the work, dont know about the wages but they work with good trucks and trailers. are you doing uk tramping or euro work, theyre euro depot is in nijmegan.
