can anyone tell me much about it?
im sure it had been dumped in a carpark, but i cant remember where, i think it was on the buxton road from somewhere south of manchester heading towards buxton in a small town…
looks like an AEC radiator trim,is it a Duple coach body?The head light configuration looks familiar.

Chassis looks like an AEC Mandator 4x4 ex military WW2.
The body loks like an Alexander Y Type (heavily modified)
Radiator grille is off an AEC bus
The front panel looks like it came off an Alexander Double Decker
Other bits could have come from anywhere.
GM Engineering was formed when the Manchester bus fleets were split up in the 1980’s and ran the central works. I think it is all closed down though now.
It looks like the owner has the contents of the stores in the back of the truck as well.
