GPS with integrated dash cam

Meet the Mio Combo 5107 LM, a unique combination of a GPS with an integrated dash cam. With the Combo, you are able to record every minute of your journey, without adding a second device to your dash board. On the navigational front, the new Combo is packed with practical features and comes with Lifetime Map Updates, so you never have to worry about new maps or road changes anymore. It will guide you to the new streets and addresses without hesitation. Simply connect the Combo to your PC and install the MioMore desktop software to check when updates are available. You will receive new maps for the lifetime of your device, up to four times a year.

The Combo comes with safety camera data for the lifetime of your device, so you’ll always know where to drive extra carefully. Safety camera updates are simply included in the map updates. Both from the main menu or the map screen, you simply pick the option “camera”, to switch to the integrated dash cam. When you start your car, the Combo will start recording, and the HD 720 pixel camera records your journey, functioning as your personal eyewitness on the road. So in case of an accident, you always have recordings of what happened. Or when you have enjoyed driving through beautiful, memorable scenery, you can share your experience with friends and family. The dash cam and the navigation run smoothly simultaneously, capturing every moment without stopping the route directions. This makes the new Mio Combo the ideal solution for everyone who likes to keep their dashboard clean, and values the safety of having a dash cam as a personal eyewitness on the road.

I’d have just used my mobile phone - “OK google give me directions to howdens joinery blackburn” and away you go…

I just have a 500Mb Data Bundle on my BT Simcard. So i cant use the Phone, and i will not spend more Money on BT as long as Broadband is that steady slow.

Plymouth and back …
Plymouth and back. .
Plymouth and back …

You get the gist of it :grimacing:

Oh and I know all the diversions on the route :grimacing: :grimacing:

must admit MIO are good, my first sat-nav was of this make and i swear by it for uk and abroad, sadly it sits in my car glove box as my boss installed the tom tom with all the bells and whistles, so use that, which is also quite impressive, so the old saying You only get what you apply for rings true.

Why would tomtoms servers crashing affect any tomtom device?
I’ve had tomtoms for 10 years never had any issue.

Tomtoms servers may crash, but that almost zero effect on any satnav.
You might loose the live services like traffic or weather for a bit, but it will still plot routes.

The MIO has TomTom Mapping on.
BUT
Had to buy extra £70.- for Trucking Activation.
OK. Its ruffly £250.- now. Take it today with me to see how it does
