Having spectacularly failed my first test I got a phone call from Paul at Hindley Green earlier this week about a cancellation for yesterday afternoon. So I went and had an hour[ish] driving around to get used to the size of the vehicle [couple of week since I had been in it] and at 1.15 I started my class 2 test.
At the end he ripped a strip off me as I was too wide on my first roundabout, but pretty good on the next, I explained that I was a ■■■■ and in trying to command the roundabout I had left the inside open, and i just clipped/rubbed a curb, but the corner was as tight as a nuns … and I knew I had hit it at the time [swearing at myself pretty well confirmed that]
So I ended up with 5 minors and a class 2 pass 
Sooo happy
For those in the NW who are looking for C or C+E I can recommend Paul and Roy, relaxing, informative and a full size vehicle… when I get out on the road I wont be phased by the size thats for sure… Oh, and they are bloody good value for money, as in really… just cost me £960 for the 18 hours of lessons and 2 hours test hire, then 1 hour lesson and 2 hours test hire… and both test fees of £230 total!! I am eternally indebted guys
Thought I would mention it in passing, Roy has just gone through the necessary for training CPC so is hoping to set up in 3 or 4 weeks time… and I am sure it will be a few quid cheaper than some of the other offerings you will see
