I had considered an adaptation of the TV series “it couldn’t happen to a vet” centred around a dozy trucker
I was the one who rang up with a simple question ,what’s my start time 
him and his buddies turned it into a 2 day saga which has only just been resolved ,6 am tues ,days - who know ,tramping - who knows ,concrete - who - knows ,where’s my truck - God knows .
I think a film about incompetent idiots in t.o my be a more apt title

I’d packed up over a week earlier to go on holiday so was fine for rest ,I’d finished mon- fri tramping so as I’d not been contacted to tell me anything different I think it’s reasonable to think your first day back would be Monday ,so all I wanted was a start time as it does vary a bit ,it should of just been 5/6 a.m ,a few seconds phone call ,but no it takes nigh on 2 days to sort it and then I’m not sure what I’m doing .
Thank god the drivers arnt as incompetent as the t.o

I must admit if driver are starting to have this attitude the job is well and truly ■■■■■■, jesus I could imagine in the 90’s telling an employer I aint calling as I am on rest and I am turning up at my normal start time (not that I ever had one).
how wet and molly coddled are modern truckers becoming where you cant make a 30 second phone call without having to restart your weekly rest.
