Htmldude- I would much rather have a British newbie have opportunities in this country than foreigners.
Not quite sure why that is a problem?
I’m 24 and have the same problem. Agencies want 6 months experience for some driver incompetence liability thing and employers want people with experience. Both seem to want people over 25 due to insurance reasons.
I’m not in a big rush to find crappy multi-drop work in EC London or Central London for £8 p/h. So I’m quite happy waiting for the right job. Just gotta keep knocking on doors until the right job turns up.
Try Bidvest in Banbury they take new drivers there was a couple of Romanian drivers when I did my induction try than direct or via g force agency , hard work but good money

Not exactly an attractive proposition, but a start is a start!
My first gig was P&H, and moved to better things after only 2 agency shifts thank God!
