I’m home tonight then got this little number tomorrow. Anybody beat this?
The recipients are going to be on the far edge of enthusiasm after 15.30…
*Persevering Face
Cara perseverando
A face with tightly-closed (boomerang) eyes, large curved eyebrows and slightly downturned curved mouth. This is one determined emoji, bound to accomplish greatness. Bolster, sustain, or uphold. Insist. To persist in anything undertaken. To maintain in spite of difficulty or discouragement; continuing steadfastly. A champ!

This reply is either genius, madness, sarcasm or a reply to the wrong post. Sadly, I don’t have the same intelligence, sanity or quick wittedness to work out which so… [emoji848]
You should give all that to Dozy, he would get to Tebury when the foreigner who doesn’t speak English would have done a trailer swap there .

Rather you than me, the roads between Taunton and Yeovil are an absolute nightmare, did it the other week in a class 2, going through the villages etc is a joke, if there was another route they would surely have a 7.5t limit, I’ve seen much safer and wider roads with a 7.5t limit, and you get the locals out in the villages with their speed guns and cameras and hi box’s making sure u are going under 20.
Was quite a nerve wracking experience when meeting other lorries, along with the stone walls!

If you’re going to Dawlish from Newton Abbot along the a381 going through Dawlish town centre could get a bit exciting in a wagon and drag! It’s not a great road from the other end ether though! (Exeter)
I got 8 off today, so as I felt ok I thought I’d use the rest of my driving hours and turn the last ones round. Doing newton abbot first in the morning the dawlish then the others in reverse. After Chippenham the trailer was empty so I dumped it in a lay-by on the 350. Makes life a lot easier on some of these crap sites! I’ll swing by and pick it up either tomorrow or Friday morning then hoof it back up the foss way to donny.
Swings and roundabouts ain’t it…Monday I took a tanker from Corby to Grangemouth, changed trailers, ran down to Penrith for the night. Tuesday - took the empty tank into Trafford Park tank wash and read/snoozed/ate breakfast for three hours while they washed it out, then ran back to Corby. Today - took a tanker to Penrith, changed over, empty tank back to Corby. Basically spent three days gazing out of the window, definitely didn’t break into a sweat! Tomorrow I’m back on a curtain, but only going to Bedford - for starters anyway. Gotta make the most of it.
