Getting bloody ridiculous, surely the law has some rules on lights ■■? Seeing more and more with all sorts of colours on the bloody front these days as well.
Before some smart arse asks what I’m doing taking pics while driving, I am parked outside Tesco at Didcot !!
The owner was standing in front of that beast admiring his handy work no doubt…
stuartrobbie:
i seen you going into Tesco Mark, your Scania looked daft with those 3 wee LEDs on the front of your motor
The 3 little lights up front are to show the little pixies the way to the Great Elf Tree in never never Stobart Land, how else would the little elves be able to have their pixie friends to dinner ■■? Thus they are important and staying …
the only rule that matters is no red to the front and no white to the rear, some look good, some look plain daft it’s all a matter of taste, but it does annoy me when i see one with red on the front!
I can well appreciate a motor with super singles, maybe a light bar a little chrome and some stacks, but mate, this is just Barry’ness for trucks, it steps over the line, might as well stick some MAX POWER and Nurburgring stickers all over it as well. There is cool and there is tacky, that one screams tacky to me, I’m sure he is very proud of it and good luck to him
Andy smg:
so what’s cool and acceptable in your eyes…
3 little LEDs, as approved by William and the Tink.
Seriously, Phantom Mark, why does it bother you? why do we all have to fit into some sterile corporate image…or is it just that as an Eddie driver you have no freedom to do what you want.
Ah,but has anyone thought about the extra load on the alternator and therefore the engine?
In other words, how much diesel does it cost to run these lights in these cash strapped times?,never mind the cost of replacing alternator belts…
