Back when I was a kid I’d walk through town and more often than not, usually on the corner of a busy junction would be a hungry looking dog, wore a slightly embarrassed look and had an old piece of rope tied on for a lead…at the end of the lead would be an unkempt man shouting incoherently at any one just out of reach whilst trying to start a fight with passing cars when no person was nearby.
I’ve not seen one for ages, then it dawned on me why…the Internet, the street corner is now a screen.
