I dont understand this whole thing about them not liking agency drivers. I have a full time job but do agency when its quiet… Been young only 30 I have been to places in a truck many full time drivers in the uk wouldn’t go too… Recently iv have been working for one company and i ask directions to a pallet hub. A full time driver looked at me as if i was scum so i had an argument with him. I asked him what he does and the last 10yrs up and down to the same place every night and told me agency drivers are useless i then pointed this out to him.

In the last couple of weeks i have driven 4 different makes of trucks on a a variety of work from containers to curtainsiders. I have been sent to pallet hubs where most people get an induction but have to figure it out your self and some of them places are mental. He had a full tuition on how to do it… then the next night i was on containers. Different truck driffernt work, different set up… Once again figure it all out. The night after that on fridge work. Same again… All this and all the company has to go on is the Agencys word that we know what we are doing. Agency drivers are anything but lazy. i would love to see a bloke whos set in his ways jumping from different wagon night after night and still doing the job like an old timer… This lazy limper stuff is bollox… I do agency work as it suits my life style…

Ooooooooo so close. You made a reasonably (although cack handed) argument and then you went and shot yourself in the foot

Hope it was his bad limping leg.

Don’t judge all full time drivers by the ■■■■ that you mention.

Now who is all defensive and narky, when its on the other foot. Fine to judge agency by a stupid stereotype, but don’t like it back.

Looks as if your definition of being …quote: "defensive and narky’’ differs to mine eh bud.
Also when did I say I did not like it, I was merely pointing out an exception rather than the rule. :bulb:
I obviously don’t take all this stuff as seriously as you.
Also I have stated my true opinion (countless ■■■■ times tbh, ) on these threads if you look, …that despite the banter, I know and realise we are all drivers together…you must have missed that. :unamused:

Door m_attt gets quite angry for a limper, doesn’t he?

Haha nothing original as usual from bellend, copy and paste all they teach you at school? At what point did i get angry? Just a bit of fishing, found it amusung the self professed trucking god, knobroy is whining about the exact thing he does.

It is in all fairness, a lovely day for fishing.

I will give you that.

Conor coming out with his “one trick donkey” line again when he himself does the same job night after night.

Conor, you commute 60 miles to do a night shift for £10 an hour. Who’s the donkey?

heehaw,heehaw,heehawwww…he is…sorry for the stutter…

you can read its mind…I wish I had paid more attention at the agency induction, this is a doddle…

Anyone that finds this picture needs a reality check.

Conor, you say I’m uneducated yet you revert to personal insults because you can’t take a bit of banter for what it is.
Maybe you should take up meditating and it may possibly rid you of your negative feelings towards us full-timers,you strike me as a very angry man and if all you have got to worry about in life is what others think about you believe me,your doing very well.
I’ve never worked for an agency,I’ve never claimed benefits and I am doing ok thanks for your concern…hell I could even fill in my own forms of called upon to do so,I’m no Einstein granted but I know all my own details.
If I wound you up I apologise,if you knew me personally you would know I ain’t a [zb]…I’m actually a good guy,you carry on with your angry little rants if you wish to do so,hell if it makes you feel better sling a few more insults my way I can take it I’m not that insecure to let someone on the internet get to me.

Kind Regards,
Your friend Chris.

:sunglasses: keep up the good work chris you got him on the ropes again

Don’t get your agency hi viz in a twist babes, it’s just a forum.

Not whining bud , and not even a ‘trucking god’ but I appreciate your compliment, not sure if I can live up to your admiration for me though.
