Who is it for etc? make sure you let us know how you get on! And congratulations on the pass!
Congrats matey
if anything like the Thatcham depot be prepared for a lot of deliveries , anything from exhausts to furniture on the load , you will probably have a set post code area route so once you know your area you will be fine , good luck with it

How you finding it then dude? Any advice?
My first week as a driver and i am having to get the 6 wheeler into tight gaps. My advice is try and find out what route your doing and look it up on google and revise the roads. It works for me and makes my job easier. Yes i do use a â– â– â– â– nav here and there but the bloody thing wants to send me through housing estates which are not fit for trucks let alone for people living there.
Take your time also and don’t rush. I am still learning the vehicle and getting used, so take your time and watch the ■■■end of the truck. it shocked me how many people want to walk up the inside of a truck as he is turning.

I had same choice when i passed,
Asked some of their drivers, its up to 60 drops a day + 30 collections.
Well done drummerkev on getting your job, Good luck with it
If you’re doing multidrop & if you are on the same route then you’ll soon get used to it , some places will give you a set route , but other places you have to plan your own routes, A good truck map is a must, a sat nav can be very helpful in locating the postcode for delivery when closer, though not all "new builds’ will show up on it!!, Beware of dimention/ restriction limits for your vehicle!! Watch out where you park to drop or collect, as you Don’t want a parking ticket… even if joe blogs says they always park there…as ‘he’ won’t be paying your fine etc!! Happy Trucking
