Ok I said i was coming back! well today girlies it was confirmed today not sure if it’s a good thing or bad yet, and bonus they’re not bothered that my German is ■■■, mind you Austrian German is a bit different to German German bloody dialects down here like my local dialect is windish 
a mixture of german and slovenian I don’t get a word of it it’s a bit like English and Welsh 
buggered if I can understand it.
But anyhow will keep you posted on how it goes will take the camera with me too see if I can find some interesting bits down this end of europe I’ll be based about ten mins from the Italian and slovenian borders so anyone around this neck of the woods don’t see many brit trucks down here seen a few brits driving dutch motors down here, be driving one of them drawbar things but thankfully not an A frame unless they 've lied to me go to the tirol mid next week to get the motor, pile of ■■■ I suppose

That’s the thing with languages mate, they can probably understand you because you’re making some effort at speaking German, but their native German is a dialect very far removed from ‘normal’ Hochdeutsch, so I guess that’s why you don’t understand them. Then, once you take their accent into account, it gets even worse.
