Sounds very strange that they wouldn’t let you complete your notice period :open_mouth:

they needed a driver this week and i could,nt because of the 2weeks notice ! :wink:

If this had been anything of a “decent” job, i would have been tempted to just tell the other job to “go whistle in the wind” ?
I know my late Dad (ex Merchant Navy), always used to say to “leave a ship so you can go back to it” … i know the ecomonic situation is dire re. jobs (if the new job had not worked out) … but weren’t you just tempted ?
