I don't believe it!

George is an old mate of mine & the yard is close to that low bridge, its well marked & alongside that bridge is a gated crossing for high vehicles. You can’t get under that bridge with a unit let alone a box. Looks like that truck had just left the yard? George must be hiring Commie Block material?
Last time there a commie bus driver took the top off an empty school double decker & did a runner-never been seen since.

Would this be to do with the other 2 threads running on the same thing??

I cant answer that as I live in Ipswich now , and I no longer drive hgvs so sorry cant give you any info ,

Fair enough… George must be around 73 now?

Thats a different bridge to the one in the newspaper link H, one is tall and arched, the pictures you put up are of a low and square one!

You’re right.Kindle.I’ve never seen it in my life - its Foxash way. I might go out there tomorrow & take a look? Feel sorry for the driver now, looks high? I wonder what she was doing around there at 0500?

In the newspaper link it says Station Road Lawford not Foxash Way! The bridge the lorry went over on looks high enough if the driver was in the middle of the road? I dont think i know the bridge so am not sure.

I should have said Foxash area. Its in between the old Harwich Rd. & A12… I wonder if she was doing a satnav thing?

That comment was based on the first bridge -no excuse. The Lawford bridge was much higher, but still don’t know what she was doing down there? Nobody, except truckers, in East Anglia starts work until 0800 on a Monday morning.

The Low bridge is 10ft only we used to get under it in a F86 many years ago.

Never had occasion to go under it in a lifetime of living close to the area.not even with a car.
