I can't find it!

HELP !!!

I have just had a computer system built for me and everything works just fine.

BUT

I am using Windows 98 SE

and it is supposed to have Excel on it, somewhere!!!

If I look in the windows 98 file I can find two folders, one with Excel on it and the other with Excel4.

How can I get Excel up and running■■?

Do I need to take it back and get the system sorted or is it just something simple that I can do■■?

cheers
STEVE.

Doh!!!

suppose it helps if its all in there in the first place :unamused:

cheers
STEVE.

hi
try doing a find for excel.exe.if this is found then click on to start/run and type in the path for excel.exe and click on ok to have excel run.
also right click on the desktop and creat a new short cut.sound like they have not given you a short cut.Should also be in the programs menu
all the best

But Windows 98 is only the operating system. You need Microsoft works or Office to use Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint etc

You might find Excel .4 in your files but you still need the licenced software like Office 97 or Office 2000

ok

AHHA…Now i too realise what you guys are saying
i have had this problem with excel and just give up…but i need the software too
