Hyva tipping gear

This afternoon, out of the blue, the Hyva tipping gear on the trailer I was using limited the PTO RPM to 1200 (would normally rev freely up to 1500), resulting in a rather long slow climb.

Anyone know the reason for this?

I’d read the manual but it’s not in the cab. Will be back in the yard tomorrow but if it’s a simple fix I’d like to sort it out as the current rate of erection is glacial.

Almost:
the current rate of erection is glacial.

I’ll drop a few in the hydraulic reservoir and see if that helps

sometimes when using the hook loader I could switch the pto off when its operating and that would allow you to get round the rev limit if it kept dropping when touching the brake etc. As long as I kept my finger on the controls and kept the box moving then the pto wouldn’t actually switch off but theoretically the engine could be revved to whatever I wanted although never went more than 1500 rpm
