Hydraulic level, Epsilon tipper grab

Evening all.
First post, hope you can give advice.

Back on a grab lorry, been a while.
Now, I’m thinking do I switch pto on, running the system for the correct hydraulic level or simply check the gauge on the side of tank, cold, before I even step in the lorry?

Does anyone gease there own crane, if so, can You recommend a correct grease and gun?

Sure it’s simple.

Cheers people

I don’t know; but you could perhaps look for a user manual available on-line?

My guess would be if it’s on the gauge when you 1st walk up to it it’ll be fine, can’t see running the PTO will make much difference anyway, but always best to check in the book if there is one.

Get one of the new type screw in grease guns, far less messy

Thank you for your response’
Had a good look online, not a lot to find, although would be handy to have a proper manual in the cab.
I’ll order that grease gun, cheers pal!
