Why not do them both with Peter?
You learn the test routes and if you do CE in W&D there’s a good chance you would have passed the C in the same truck.

Trucks look a bit old, i’d go elsewhere, but best thing is try them out, have an assessment, the instructor might be a superstar like Paul!
Whoever you choose, the same company for C and CE makes most sense, you will know the area better and changing instructors can be awkward as another school will alway have ‘their way’ of doing things.

Huw is a straight talking sound bloke, very dry humour and there to get you passed. I passed my test about 5 years ago but didn’t go into driving as had decent non driving jobs. Wanted to get driving last year and went to Huw for refresher training. I had passed in wag and drag and never driven an artic until got into Huws. Soon got the hang of it going forward not so easy reversing. Think I did about 3hrs and Huw was straight with me and said that he couldn’t do anymore with me and I now needed to get on the road. Fair play he could well have said that I needed more hours with him and cost me a bit more cash. I signed with an agency and advised them that I was not experienced but they could give Huw a call about my refresher training. The agency did phone him and he again told them straight that I could drive ok just needed more experience. The agency sent me out on one double man job (no pay). Then about 3 more double man jobs (with pay). From then been out on my own and enjoy it.

Did my class 2 with him 2 years ago and my 1 with him last year, he’s a good trainer and I would recommend him. One of my mates passed with him the other week aswell and from what he said he’s running a auto premium on the class 1 not sure about class 2 though (was a scania when I did mine but could of changed now). Really sound guy, even got me my first driving job when a local place asked him if he knew anyone looking for work he passed my number on to them.
