I can’t comment about the wages, But i’ve loaded out of there quite a few times. Everyone seems happy, Good morale speaks volumes.
mon to fri £6.80 ph for first 8 hours then overtime rate, (higher rate for hours worked before 6am)
sat £8.40 ph (£10.95 ph for hours worked before 6am)
sun £11.20 (£14.60 ph rate for hours worked before 6am)
They currently have over 60 units, none older than 3 yrs old, and although a lot of drivers constantly moan their lot, not too many seem to leave, so it can’t be too bad a job. Drivers are generally left to be ‘grown ups’ and get on with the job in their own way and left alone, as long as the job is done, management is happy.
