Hull-Zeebrugge Ferry

Will be sailing on this next week, any info on car parking at the port, prices on board, what the entertainment is like etc. Cheers

Loads of parking in front of the terminal building, it’s about £7/24 hours, and well signposted from A63. Prices on board are about what you’d expect, i paid about £4 for a can of Guinness, but might be cheaper in the bar.
Entertainment was ok but not my cup of tea.
Me and family went to Brugges the other week and the ferry was faultless. Meals were excellent, cabins were what you’d expect in a confined space.

Cheers Mick thanks for the info

Went on P&O from Hull to Amsterdam for my stag do. Absolutely brilliant night out on the ferry. Something for all ages and as has been said the food was excellent. Entertainment a bit cheesy for my liking but hey ho.

Food is great and cheaper if you pay for it before you sail and pay for all the meals. Its an all you can eat buffet.

Only downside is the effeminate officer who rudely awakens you at the crack of dawn over the tannoys.

Stop at the “Sportsman” on the dock road in Hull and try the “fish finger special” Wunderbar
And if your running a little late P+O give you a bell to let you know you are a “little late”

Now thats what you call service.

Mind you was with me mates on the bikes and not some “lowlife” in a truck!!!

Odd aint it we paid 500 quid for a cabin and 3 three bikes yet some bloke in a truck who pays £800+quid for the same crossing gets treated like a bloody sheep.

Done both and I tell you go on a motorbike. The silly buggers even escorted us to the bikes in the morning as we were the last off.
Makes you wonder what they think of the folk who provide(by far) their main revenue
eg Freight,dont it.A bloody disgrace

The timber dock pub on the westbound side near the prison used to be good food (next to the 7.5T limit). Especially as there’s very little facilities actually in the terminal for vehicle passengers (toilets, vending machines). There’s a chippy, a few shops and a sandwich shop (left turn) just off the marfleet roundabout which is the next roundabout eastbound after the truck dealership. There’s another community type boozer/club up there (left at marfleet, 500yds on right) that does a full Sunday lunch too

I heard that married women and singles go on these long crossings in the hope of getting some how`s your father cabin action.

Ditto this a few years ago , however … WE WERE the entertainment :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

used this service a few years ago,and enjoyed the crossing :sunglasses: the all you can eat buffet was £25 quid to enter, but if you get stuck into the expensive stuff(king prawns, gateuax etc)you can just about get your monies worth…burb.

Meals on board
I usually eat in the buffet restaurant, especially if Im off to the mainland on the motorbike, stuffing myself with the good stuff 6-8 courses at the evening meal, but I usually decide once Im on board which meals Ill have, buying the ticket from the reception kiosk, sometimes on the outbound leg Ill have both the evening meal & the breakfast so Im full enough not to need food between getting off the ferry in the morning and my hotel at the end of the days ride. but on the homeward ferry Im only have the evening meal as I know Ill get breakfast at home less than an hour after getting off the ferry. Ill be catching the zeebrugge ferry on the bike in June heading down to the south of France via the Route de Grande alps
