I got an all day drop at Hull Prison tommorrow (Tip am, come out… go back in pm to collect empties)
Anyone know somewhere close to the prison I can park a 14T LF daf?
well if u got time to waste and a telly why not go up to the p&o ferry areau can drive under the loading ramp go round to locks and watch the boats come in out of the locks all day long only time u will get move is it at night as they do not allow u to park there over night only problems no loos there so if u need a number 2 u will have to find a garage for that or a deep bush but remember to ick up a paper and anyhting else u need apart from that there is not a lot of places to park the lorry park is just off the A62 as u coming into hull and the prison is on the other side of hull to it so it would take u a good 20 mins to drive back im guessing plus u have to pay.
come out of the prison and turn left, go over the 1st roundabout and then go over the second roundabout, carry on down the road and you will pass a BP garage on the left (triangle) and then just carry on down that road (hedon road) until the next roundabout, if you turn left down there and then go to the bottom and turn round you can park anywhere down there, its 5 mins from the prison and safe, the road is Somerdon road!! I didnt fancy leaving the truck on the parking at the front of the prison (as others do) and going with the distribution team Im working with down the pub for lunch 
So I figure on putting my TV/DVD & satnav in the truck, leaving em in the gatehouse (as they`re banned inside). then going to chill out somewhere with some movies, before going back in the afternoon to re-load the empties from the prisoners “canteen”
