I am heading up there Saturday,who drives for any of those companys what are they like ?
I drive for one of them however im not sure if its the transport side of things that will be part of the exhibit.
Depends if you like handballing all night every night.
But take new drivers and pay well.

I understand that the money’s not too bad now.
I did a month for them about 15 years ago, 14/15 hour days, c’o’ntinental (spelt with a U) shifts-working most weekends, a horrendously noisy fridge above my head (on a rigid) 8 drops one day & 9 the next, 03.00 starts, no breaks (on rest whilst you unload) ■■■■ poor money, all in all a Poxy Job.
They tried to get me to stay by offering me Monday to Friday or the Carlisle Night Trunk, but I decided after 4 weeks enough was enough & got some of my life back. Went to work for Cawleys (Monday to Friday + every other Saturday morning) & eventually on to Biffa for 9 years (that’s another story [emoji57])
I think its always going to be hard work as its still handballing but keeps you fit and it does get easier.
I work nights so starting at 5/6 pm finishing 3/4 am.
I’ve had some 1 am finishes on the odd occasion
12 hours shifts work scheduled for 9-10 hours, so your paid for 12 regardless.
Rota wise i do 4 days a week No Sundays every 3 weeks rota starts again and you get a nice 5 days off.
Drops maybe 5 -7 a night, I’ve had less on few occasions.
Still got a noisy bloody fridge but the crap they play on the radio drowns it out lol
Allocated runs now you do twice per week each ( unless you choose otherwise).
I mean,they try look after you and round this way they give a lot of new drivers there first start,however like yours,you do here the odd horror stories.
Money wise, brilliant, plenty overtime available.
Im in it for the free pizza myself lol
Dominos sounds ok, like the I idea of a bit of handball actually never worked nights though so that will be a shock to the system
