They have been there for over 40 years and have been in the tank game much longer,
never the best tackle but certainly got the work and you will get your hours in. Have you got ADR
I see from their website they have been going since 1975.
I worked for them as a driver for a sub contractor in 1978,
when their yard in Hull wasn’t much more than a sea of mud or dust
with a steam line at the back and a tank wash.
I remember there was an aged mobile crane too, used for lifting empty
tanks on and off, also useful for picking up the front end of
TFT trailers whose legs had sunk into the soft ground.
They didn’t have any lorries of their own then, I don’t know if
those with their names on are theirs or not.
They were always busy then and seem to be just as busy now, I pass their yard
several times every day.
Not much help for your question but it brings back some memories.
Regards,
Nick

I was tipping fruit juice at Halewood International a few weeks ago when one of their guy’s pulled in to tip after me, he had a very clean Renault Premium & seemed very happy with the job, home every night (Widnes) and he’s been there 13 or 14 years so must’ve liked it.
