Does anybody know how to remove this retaining bracket in a MAN cab? Can’t see how to get the plastic cover off, and don’t want to force it and break summat.
Thanks
Gary

Im guessing he wants to put a television on the wall and its in the way
TV is correct, but I was thinking that if there is a decent fixing point for it, I can make a bracket and fit the TV to that, rather than having to make any new holes, so it can be put back to normal when the truck goes.
you can prise the grey cover off, it takes a bit of force but it shouldnt break, it just clips over a black backing plate which is held on by 3 bolts, more than adequate to hold a t.v.
Who knows how they put things together nowadays?
That looks a sturdy fixing - just what you want. Does it slide? I’d tease it with a screwdriver - if it breaks…?
You are talking to someone who has got into a jammed side locker on a CF - not via the locker door!!! ffs
Interior design is another world
