Can someone give me instructions on how to place photo’s in a post. I have tried and failed miserably. Liz
May I add these will NOT be gloomy ones.
You need to upload the photo to a photo hosting site like photobucket or imageshack. Once it’s uploaded you’ll see some selection boxes underneath with different choices. Select the one which has tags at the start and end, and then paste the link into your post and you’re done. Pictures links start http:// and end with either .jpg or .gif (or sometimes .bmp).
If it’s just the link without the tags then all that will show is the link, like this :
snoozecontrol.co.uk/stirthepot.gif
But if you highlight that and click the Img button in the menu bar above your post when you’re in the compose screen, it will add tags at the front and end which will make the image show.
This is how the address should look in order for it to show as a pic
