They downloaded my truck and if I remember right took my card , you’ll then have a interview , statement , x amount of hours immobilised , a dirty great proabition notice stuck in your windscreen reminding you your in deep [zb] ( you’ll not sleep well) , you’ll them have interviews , disiplinary meetings , then months on tender hooks wondering what’s comming your way .

Don’t tell me, you didn’t have a fire extinguisher fitted

No , I’d drove for mins the previous day without my card in

This was the occasion that the stobart planners planned for dozy to work 31 days straight with no rest day and worked a 20 hour day every one of the 31 days, and said it will be reeeet, just write on the tacho print out you were looking for somewhere to park.

Dont worry about me I don’t work there anymore , my advice is just make sure that card stays in at all times, even its I pulled it out gate too get parked up within my hours , it might be mins but the amount of trouble it gets you in just isn’t worth it , I know , and even after 6/7 months or whatever it is I’m still not sure what the end result will be

Yes it was the same truck ( I was tramping at the time ) I drove without card in at the end of previous shift , and was pulled at Carlisle the following day .

What was the reason for them pulling you? Just a spot check or had they seen something else that was of interest to them?
