Think he was refering to 97% delivered on time, not 3% lost. Loss rates within RM are not that high compared to other carriers. When I was working as a contract manager for Parcelforce the loss rates from the computer companies I was working on were far less then 1/1500, which considering laptops were being sent in boxes that said “laptop” on it was not a bad loss rate.
I know, But RM classes delivery levels as the items that are deliverd on time, Hence that line should have a full stop and not a comma. If the loss rate was 3% then RM would have gone bust long ago, instead the government dip into it’s bank accounts every year and clear all the profits out…
