No, its because I wouldn’t lower myself to work for the wages or conditions offered in the vast majority of permanent jobs. Agency drivers have to have far more skills that one trick pony permanent drivers who drive the same trucks delivering the same loads to the same places week in, week out, year in, year out.

phoned the manager and he said just carry on ,from stoke to coventry
he also said plead ignorance if you get stopped or tell them you will get it done at coventry
i didnt fancy hanging around so i switched the headlights off and put the sidelights on and both front foglights
got to cov without being stopped
