How much cpc have i done?

Haha might seem a daft question but im struggling to get a straight answer.

I passed Hgv c + e in 2006 then in 2012/2013 ish I done an ADR course( in tanks)

Did my adr course count towards any cpc? I have a vague memory of getting told i got 7 hours , will this still be valid if so?

How do i go about doing the course , is the only way to get cpc by sitting in a class for 35 hours?

Thanks

Hi,

Best bet would be to register here:
gov.uk/check-your-driver-cp … ning-hours

And this should let you know how many hours you have done. You will need your driving licence number and your address details

Says i have no training record yet

I’ve only done my Mod 2, haven’t done any periodic so I can’t check mine.
When you did your ADR are you sure they were JAUPT(sp) approved so the hours can count towards cpc?

Yes an ADR course CAN count towards up to 28 hours of CPC (include the tanks module), but it doesn’t mean the trainer has uploaded these as CPC credits, or that you have even paid the upload fee’s. So speak to your ADR trainer!

You haven’t had anything recorded against your licence - you have no periodic training. That’s why it won’t let you register.

From what you have told us you can choose to do either 35 hours in a class room or Modile 2 & 4

If it hasn’t been uploaded by now it won’t be getting uploaded. They have 5 days to upload

I think doing module 2 and 4 sounds a bit more bearable than 35 hours in class

Mod 2 and 4 were far more my style too!

Don’t forget there’s a pass/fail for Mod 2 & 4 and you can’t book Mod 4 until you have a pass for Mod 2.

Also - I’d suggest if you are a ‘new’ driver, 35 hours of decent training won’t do you any harm and possibly give you some valuable information before entering the workplace. Of course there are just as many poor quality DCPC courses as good ones.
