How many truckers/drivers are Ex Forces?

The charity, SSAFA Forces Help (www.ssafa.org.uk) is trying to find out the percentage of HGV/lorry drivers who are ex Forces. We’re a military charity that supports anyone in Armed Forces, past and present and their families. We support approx 50,000 people every year.

It would be great if you could fill out this quick survey.

Hi Vicky
Sorry about most of the replies, it’s a standing joke with many truck driver about how many times you’ll hear somebody tell you about their time in the SAS,

The question has come up several times and it seems a fair few on here have served in the Forces, but I don’t know how you’d get a figure on how many Truck drivers have been in the forces, maybe you could start a thread with a Poll, but this thread might give you a bit of idea of how many have been in the forces.

Asked the question on here myself last year.
