I got a question a driver started at 14.00 sunday and finnished at 01.00 on munday morning then he did tue / wend / thur / fri days .
What i want to know is can he run in on saterday morning or is this classed as 7 cards or 6 ■■?

Yes he can, he started at 14:00 Sunday so must commence a weekly rest no later than 14:00 Saturday. Having said that, as he finished at 01:00 Monday and didn’t work again until Tuesday it is likely he had a weekly rest then anyway, if he started later than 01:00 Tuesday. If that was the case he would have longer before he as required to begin a weekly rest. In the scenario you outline Saturday morning would only be his 6th shift since beginning work at 14:00 Sunday.
Although it’s not a real senario, it does show that 8 shifts can be done between weekly rest periods !!
Sorry i just found out that after finnishing at 1am on monday he had 9 hours off then started again on monday at 10 am finnished at 17.00 and then started at 8 am tue morning after a 15 hour break .

As he started at 14:00 Sunday after a weekly rest then he should start a new weekly rest no later than 14:00 Saturday.
So there’s nothing to stop him working Saturday as long as he’s finished by 14:00
