How many out there still handball?

Just wondering how many still handball in 2015?

Inferior drivers with a lousy C license.

^ How does it work if you’ve got a class 1 and handball!

Get a different job.

I’m quite content with actually doing a bit of work rather then sat on my backside!

I sometimes get a full artic load of memory foam that has to be handballed off at customers premises. It’s not heavy but it’s just akeward to carry. it’s good exercise so I don’t mind it every so often

In my current job theres a fair bit of handball. But having dropped 5 stone since starting driving cant complain too much!

Cheers

Jonny :sunglasses:

Whats wrong with handball? You scared of some graft?

Ignore the so called proper drivers on here who say they don’t handball. I do it everyday delivering furniture. I wouldn’t change my job for anything. Good money and lots of holiday and it keep the pounds of you as well. There’s plenty of drivers out there that could do with a bit of exercise

Ive delivered memory foam too.

Cant remember where to though.

I drive most of my stuff on, or load myself driving the flt myself, safer
my first job in 1981 was a yop scheme, £21 a week at Canada cold store in Liverpool handballing 25kg boxes of butter from 20 and 40 containers, back breaking work.

Haha that made me chuckle. Unfortunately, I have a lousy C license and have to handball every day. If I didn’t do it then a lot of people wouldn’t be getting their fish and chips this week, or any week. Sorry I’m not a King of the Road but I wouldn’t want to try and get an artic into a lot of the places I have to take my lowly rigid.

Don’t worry pal-its just a bit of night fishing. Ive done my time on C myself.

There are certain ’ trigger ’ words on here that get a great reaction. None better than the ‘A’ word though!!

Gotta have a bit of banter, makes the world go round mate.

No. But I pick my own loads, does that count

If I have to handball it off, that means I’ve ■■■■■■ up somewhere!

Can confirm.

Though it’s much better than doing 7.5t work. Those poor ■■■■■.

I did it for a while on flour, didn’t mind some of it but so much was so unnecessary. I could never understand why bakers had flour carried upstairs, when they used it downstairs.
I gave it up as apart from a nagging back injury I can earn as much on tippers doing less work, and less hours. Fifteen hour days didn’t appeal either with a new baby in the house.

7.5 tipper work’s good fun, no weight limits, everywhere’s easy to get into compared to an 8wheeler etc. The only downside is that when you drive an old un signwritten Isuzu, people think you’re a travelling tarmac salesman.

I have to load 26 pallets now and then and I ■■■■■■■ hate it, that’s the only time I touch the load and even once a month is too much
