Its the way we breed them - i have good memoeries of 9 squadron - at Maidstone they could get over 20 guys around a 4 seat table lol

I had my 18th in Port Stanley - no 9 squadron though -
I had fun being inthe same regt 36 engineers - it was a good competition with 20 field keeping up with them in the regt - we were 5 Airbourne Brigade

I was glad of the sappers in Bosnia, they built us nice corimec villages to replace the tents we were freezing in!

9 Sqn were at MPA. They kicked off in their sqn bar one night so we sent in the RAFP dogs, I’ve never seen so many people jumping out of windows and covering their knackers with ashtrays so the dogs couldn’t bite them!!! :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

was attached to QRL’S quite a bit, being arty op. even doing tne the cyprus tour with them in 2000/2001 trying to remember the RSM who was A sqn SSM around 96/97. didnt like the arty boys, in fact the ■■■■■■ left me for dead on excercise in canada, buggered off and left me on my on on the prarie for 24 hours until the regtimantal doctor turned up and pronounced me dead…good job we was only on tesex, was shot by a black watch guy in the foot!.. :smiley:
