Well, its rained every day this year up north and tbh i’m sick if it, but thanking my lucky stars that we haven’t had any floods (so far).

The water has risen another foot since then and is expected to rise even more.
Waist deep at the bottom of the hill. So far I’m told it’s claimed three cars who decided to give it a try. We’ve had 2 tractors pulling big vacuum tankers at it since Friday morning and it appears to be just getting deeper. Having had a couple of six wheelers on it a couple of weeks ago, some idiot decided an artic would shift more at a time…but it didn’t shift any at all, because the road is so narrow, steep and twisting that he got stuck with wheelspin and started slipping backwards with the nearside trailer wheels just about to go over the edge of a steep drop into the old quarry. It took three hours to let the load trickle back down the hill and then he was still stuck. 9 hours later the hook arrived and dragged him out.
was about 6 in out the back in the car park till I prodded and pocked the drain and whoooosh it was gone
More than enough

That silo’s leaning more and more towards the Abbey. Have they started redeveloping the old mill?
