How many driving TESTS have you had?

Car first time {Hillman Imp}.
Class 3 first time {Bedford TK}.
Fork lift Counterbalance passed first time {Bonser}.
Forlift reachtruck passed first time {Lansing}.
C+E failed first time {Volvo FH.12.}
C+E passd 2nd time {Volvo FL.10}.

6 thats enough, forgot Sainsburys shopping trolley passed first time. :laughing:

Tractor passed 97
Car passed 2000
rigid failed then passed 2003
artic failed then passed 2004
bike passed 2004
7 by my reconing

Passed my car first time,
Passed my class 1 first time,

Passed my car test first time in 97
Passed my forklift counterbalance first time in 99 (imposable to fail)
Passed my CBT first time in 2000
Passed my class 2 first time in 2001
Passed my class 1 first time in 2001 (only just though)

So that’s 5 tests by the age of 21

  • I now have to go & do the new Government Computer Game, err, sorry, I mean Hazard Perception Test. As, having done all the above & been teaching driving on & off for 16 years, the DSA have decided that us experienced instructors do not know how to recognise a hazard :exclamation: :unamused: :question: :unamused:

… and the dizzying heights of 23mph if it had multi-power!!!

Dids some longish trips with that 135 too, as the farmer I was friendly with (sadly no longer with us) used to buy & sell machines & trailers & stuff & i used to go pick them up.
His sons still have that tractor Denis, I remember him buying it new in 1968, think it was just under Ā£1000. They WILL NOT sell it, even though they deal in tractors & 135’s.
