At a recent interview, a friend was given a test on tacho rules and regs. One of the questions was, “How many days can you legally keep charts for?” This was a multi choice answer, one of which was 86 days. My friend answered 28 days and was told this was wrong, the correct answer was 86 days. Does anybody know if this is correct? Cheers, jed
as a driver you need to keep the previous 28 days plus the day you are on.

The same place most of these things come from, someone just pulls them from their ■■■ without ever reading the regulations.
