Is it me or does the number of breakdowns always increase on bankholidays 
today in 2 hours, on my way back from essex to northamptom i saw 8 vehicles parked/broke down on the hard sholder and 5 or 6 hells angels on bikes parked between 2 rows of cones dividing 2 lanes of northbound traffic on the contra flo system on the m1

I assume that as the volume of traffic increases so the numbers of breakdowns does too. Its probably the same ratio as a normal day. 
lots of caravans with punctures,and i saw one on the m74,with its wheel fallen off.all this can caused by caravanners pulling their"tin tents"(ho ho ho),out of 5 months of hibernation and paying no attention whatsoever to basic maintenance before commencing journey.
i saw a caravan on the m11, actually all over the m11. the problem is people do longer journeys than they’re used too and that causes problems
Saw 6 vehicles at the side of the road this morn on a very short stretch of road (Leicester to Northampton on M1) 4 of these were caravans, tell a story?? I think so!!
There was a young lad in the park earlier who had a puncture on his bike. Also my dog was labouring after too much running and swimming and playing in the mud down said park. Yup, i’ve been off today.
