If you lose your digi card how long does it take for them to get a new one out to you and am i right in thinking that you have to pick it up from them, (they wont post it out to you)…

Don’t know about lost cards but when I renewed mine last month it came within 3 days by post.
I did it by phone , try phoning DVLA and ask em.
You’ll find number on line somewhere they were very helpful.

Doesn’t take long for replacement but when/if stopped vosa/police will know if you are on a replace card original card is invalid once replacement is issued!

Why would you have it delivered to a test station instead of your house? It still has to come in the post so what are you gaining? I don’t get it.
My renewal card took 1 week to turn up from sending off the forms. The form says you have to order renewal cards 3 weeks before the current one is due to expire too otherwise you can’t drive if the new one doesn’t turn up in time.
I reported my card lost last Monday and it arrived in the post at home Thursday.

Because m post wouldn’t arrive until after 11 and the VOSA station was two units down from where I worked.

Yeah me too. This was about 5 years ago when changing addresses.
