How goes it in the wacky world of ..?

OK folks, not been on for a couple of months, as I’ve been really busy with other non-driving work. Thought I’d pop in and see how the wacky world of steering trucks about the road network is going.

I have received umpteen phone calls from various contacts recently requiring drivers. Have been offered allsorts from short (well paid) night trunks in new motors (yes please) to tramping and out 5/6 nights (hahahahahahaha comedian as well as a haulier :grimacing: )They do seem pretty busy.

So, who is feeling positive/busy/upbeat? And how many have completed their appropriate training that will make you a proper professional driver? :grimacing:

Hmm pretty busy tramping, one drop a day no collection just swap trailer for next job, easy
I completed my professional training in 2010 when I passed my heavy goods test! Much like the old salts find it a slap in the face, people who have been driving 10,20,30+ years to have some tie wearing office jockey who’s never driven a truck let alone sit in one tell ya how to do your job!! I think it’s out of order personally but us the mighty british have on again dropped our trolleys bent over greased up the old starfish and let the EU have another stab!!
