How full you trailers (vagon)normally.■■?how often you have just 1/2 or less??
Rarely full depends how many shops to do and what size trailer, works been known to send from Wolverhampton to Scarborough with a 45ft with 4 pallets before lol.
I work for B&M Retail,
We only have twin axle units, 38,000kgs plated weight, we usually run around 25-30,000. sometimes if you have a long run, trailers will reach maybe 35 on double deckers.
I pull a step deck double deck trailer every day, never anywhere near full. sometimes have a nearly full lower deck but very rare. Most days only have half lower deck & have been known to go out with only 8 pallets!!!
Work backload for asda from Ireland.
Ireland to tees port then to willenhall then we take it asda Chepstow in a decker with sometimes 3 pallets on the swan neck another driver brings the second decker with the same on doesnt seem worth it 2 deckers for 6 pallets but asda get charged £500 a decker to do it
Not sure whether being on containers qualifies here but quite a lot of the time near enough 44t with export scrap & waste paper.
Most of the time about 44t give or take a tiny bit or empty between loads but then again i am on the bulkers!
Pull tanks and tippers now so always full. Once left cork in Ireland for 1 drop Stockholm, 1 drop Helsinki with 7 pallets on a box van and ran empty from Helsinki back to Tilburg. Back in the good money days.
Tipped in Frankfurt one Friday morning and backload fell through so back to cork empty. Good old blue chip work, money no object!
I’m on night trunking, so full most of the time.

Job I’ve done 3 times this week I’ve run down full( 26 pall), then run 208 miles back empty
,but apparently the job pays very well
Drive a tanker so 44t at 2/3’s full, have to take it easy on the bends. Always run back to widnes empty, that’s from the top of Scotland to Cornwall
