How do you stand

if instead of taking redundancy you transfer to another depot , what happens if you dont like it, travelling to much etc. do you loose your entitlement to redundancy etc .
another drivers saying if i transfer elsewhere as a driver i loose my entitlement to redundancy, but if i took up job offer as flt, warehouse etc and then decided it wasnt for me id still be entitled to redundancy etc as its a totally different job to what im used to. is he right. ta

Depends if you’ve signed a contract or not.

My guess would be that you would normally lose redundency entitlement but you would need to find out what agreements are in place, speak to your union rep or manager.

When I was laid off a few years ago, the co were offering positions elsewhere and iirc there was 90 days to adjust and settle in, if it didn’t work out you didn’t lose any entitlements, BUT I don’t know if this was a statutory requirement or something under Swedish law or a company thing (company got taken over by Swedes and run things according to Swedish law).
