How come nobody moves foreign trucks on?

Do the police and other authorities not bother moving trucks on when parked in illegal places? Always see them parked on hard shoulders, exit slip from services, emergency use lay-bys, under bridges along m25,double yellow lines along industrial estates, now they’ve started parking outside our local school for weekly rests…yellow lines and 7.5 tonne zone…I appreciate it’s difficult to find space but rules need to be enforced…

Nah, rules are made to be broken.
Smash the system

Because we have a Police farce not a Police force.
See them all the time parking in town centres.

Because everyone has a right to have a break,be it foreign or from this god forsaken country.!

On a lot of our rural routes you can go for miles without finding a laybye or somewhere sensible to park. When im in Spain I marvel at the places you can find wagons parked such as housing estates. Loads of room and people dont seem to mind.
I always see removal wagons parked here when im over at the villa. google.com/maps/@38.1356,-0 … BXe2Kw!2e0

aslong as he doesn’t leave a mess who cares? he’s there for the weekend, I wouldn’t want to be parked in some industrial estate in the middle of nowhere if I was ever weekended.

Our civil servants and I use the term loosely, police, benefits office staff etc.etc have an aversion to try speaking a foreign language and just ignore them
or in the case of benefits just give them what they want.In Portsmouth Vosa sits in the check out booth listening as drivers speak to the Border Guard,if
he is foreign but speaks English Vosa might just pull him,if he speaks foreign and is 20 ton overloaded Vosa will likely let him go.

Yeah - but are they just parked? I believe loads of vehicles drive into La Marina Urb and are never seen again!
I even manage to get lost myself every time I go there!

Steve

many reasons.

If you to tow a way a truck.

were to ?
who would tow ?
who will pay?
Health and safety ?
Risk assessment?
are you trained to drive it?

Plenty to go wrong. better not to bother.

This… all day long. If you can get away with it carry on…

Probably sympathy to the fact they are in an unfamiliar country, truck parking here is abysmal & there is no tolerance towards infringements back on the continent.

If the truck is parked illegal what about the 4x4 behind it or is that parked legally■■?.

They’re a PITA around Stanton Harcourt industrial estate. I know someone who rents one of the units and the estates’ maintenance people are fed up with their bags of rubbish strewn about. At best it’s general litter but not uncommon for the odd bag of excrement and bog roll to be left behind. Dirty filthy rats. They also park on a haul road to the various recycling plants nearby, making it a complete lottery to getting past without meeting anything coming the other way. I know it’s frowned upon to sound your horn at a resting vehicle/driver but I see/hear loads of people doing it out of frustration.
The A4142 between the A40 and BMW at Cowley is another place where these rats are likely to get the laybys closed down; Filthy pricks leave litter and excrement here to be blown about by passing traffic. It can’t be any local drivers doing it as it’s nigh on impossible to park there now. :imp:
