No good reasoning with most on here fella, these are classic daily mail, sun, murdoch-Jew fed propaganda numb skulls without a critical thought between them.
If they felt that strongly about “illegal” immigrants they would withold their tax or council tax in protest at the ‘illegal’, as stated by kofi Annan, invasions of multiple country’s under the disguise of a war of terror that has forced many to flee our bombs, bombs and weapons that our tax money is being spent on!..
Only problem is they’ve only got a keyboard & very narrow & influenced world view point… and two little peas in their fanny pack!

Yeah my personal experiences are from reading the Daily Mail, good one, Champ. Have you ever been threatened by several of these parasites before?
Why would I protest the “invasions” of countries that gave me several juicy tour bonuses? My world view is likely a lot wider than yours, my opinions come from my experiences not the hand wringing pish you get fed and beleive.[/quote
Iv seen good men & mates killed so don’t you be trying to patronise me… champ!!! I highly doubt you’ve fully developed a BALANCED view from first hand experience but, because champ you would know exactly what the pish I BELIEVE & more importantly what I get fed is wouldn’t you.
I think your last sentence shows who you are perfectly - either a knuckle dragging numbskull or or a spiritually blind drone, maybe even a bit of both. Enjoy your weekend.

Do you mean hypocrite?..
Nope, far from it… but of cause you’d know.

Of cause ? Of course ? Hey
You attacked the guy for his key board warrior antics .Yet did exactly the same .Forgive my dislexia .Yes i meant hypocrite.Thank you
Mr condescending bore .

I’m sure you haven’t, Champ.
I note the questions went unanswered. As expected your experience of these parasites is through the newspapers. How balanced.

And in one comment you show just how stupid you and those who think like you are.
Withold tax and council tax in protest?
Are you seriously thinking that would work?
I will offer you congratulations though because, in the entire history of the internet, youve only gone and won the prize for stupidest comment ever posted online
Of course not, I made it all up… the problems I face, and live with day to day are all figments of my imagination. Maybe that nice big juicy tour bonus shrink wrapped your conscience or maybe your one of those far away hero’s that didn’t get to see the real death & destruction caused, maybe your real life experience did include watching your best mate get blown to bits.
Errr… fb, Costa, Starbucks, google etc etc… also there are a fair few thousand, at least of people withholding tax in one form or another, so mr snowflake it’s not such a stupid comment but I’m sure you would of done a quick google search to check this… or maybe your waiting for the beta box to tell you!!!

I think this comment has actually overtaken your last one in terms of stupidity.
Costa, Fb and the rest arent withholding tax in protest at how the money is spent genius, theyre dodging it with loopholes for no other reason than to save themselves money so its not even close to the same thing therefore, yes, it is still a stupid comment
Quite how you think Joe soap is supposed to hold back his tax in protest when its taken off his top line by his employer is a mystery though. Based on your incoherent ramblings so far im dubious as to whether I want you to explain how it should happen or not
trevHCS:
Theres a simple way to separate people to find their true purpose.
If people move from one country just across the border into the next safe one then they are genuine refugees and need help. As seen many times in African nations when small wars broke out. They were keen to move back when it was over.
If they cross more than 2+ safe countries then they are economic migrants and should go through thr host country immigration systems usually before setting off. Without a visa they get tirned back just like you or I.
If they do above plus have enough money to pay people to smuggle them across 2 stretches of water through 5+ safe countries, they are neither refugees or economic migrants, but rich and with suspicious reasons for wanting to be here. In that case we should deal with them as criminals because it is a criminal offence to enter the UK without a valid asylum claim or visa.
Everyone in Calais is in the latter category and most have committed criminal offences getting into France for the same reason. We really wa t them here!?
Absolutely right.
Spot on. Agree with all of this.
@Dbk23. Quick question chap, in one of your heated replies you seem to suggest you served in the forces, just wondered where you served and when to see so much death, obviously you don’t have to reply but I thought it interesting when taken into context with your views on this subject…

Don’t blame these people for trying to better their lives and get away from dreadful situations because I guarantee most on here would do exactly the same if they were in the same situation.
Blame the people running the countries.
That’s right! Don’t blame these people from trying to escape from France, terrible place, awful Neo-liberal government.
But yes, we need to be blaming all those politicians who were happy to start wars for their own glory hunting purposes, all those politicians who worked hand in hand with the WTO and multi-national corporations to rob the poorest countries in the World of their natural resources, who used organisation like the IMF to force them to privatise national services, which the multi-nationals then go and run and take the profits out of the countries to the West.
But the idea that we should open our borders to them will not solve the problems; it will just bring many millions of people, as second class citizens into the West, although they might be richer in terms of physical wealth, most will never be better off as they’ll end up in the lowest paid jobs, living in the worst places and they’ll also compete for resources with those already there, these are the seeds for major civil unrest.
As for the Driver, it probably feels like a small victory against a situation he has very little control over. So as you have sympathy and understanding for the stowaways, it seems strange that somebody with such a big heart doesn’t have sympathy and understanding with the driver.

And you think that works? More likely you end up in prison for your actions and far from becoming some sort of martyr for your cause, you’ll just end up vilified as a crack pot, xenophobe and racist by the media, politicians and other “worthies” who have stifled discussion on the subject by using those labels. This has now lead to a rise in anti-immigration parties gaining votes across Europe and the mainstream politicians are losing control of the agenda.
A recent UN report found out most of these people aren’t escaping recent wars we’ve been involved in, most were economic migrants, although we are as guilty for causing that as we are for the political inability in parts of the World where we’ve been involved in recent conflicts.

Great,a sensible reply instead of all the childish bickering going on.I will explain why I have absolutely no sympathy for the driver. For one he has no regard for their safety and secondly he talks like a spoilt kid that gets his kicks from putting peoples lives in danger.
Of course they should not be trying to get on the back of any trailer but as the driver knew they were there he should not have driven off.Would you have done the same? I doubt it.

They have no regard for the safety or any respect for the drivers they attack, the vehicles and loads they damage or the lives of those who they are trying to ruin by using them and their livelihood as a way of illegally entering a country they have no right to be in. Excuse the driver for not getting out and giving them a cuddle.

The driver talks the same way many younger people in Britain talk, not my thing, I even find it annoying, but I’m sure I annoyed the old ■■■■■ of my youth.
He also informed them he was going to Holland, not the UK, but they remained on his trailer, so are they not guilty for putting theirs and others lives in danger?
Of course I suppose he could have then tried to get them off the truck himself, but would that not put him in danger, or called the Police and maybe waited for hours in a spot where there are illegal immigrants wandering around.
Over the years I’ve sat for hours in queues on the motorway surrounded by illegal immigrants and with no police in sight, I’ve seen the remains of burning roadblocks and the bricks and stones scattered over the carriageway, I’ve had illegal immigrants removed from the axles of my trailer, I’ve seen the shell shocked look on a colleagues face after being threatened with arrest and then questioned for 2 hours after reporting illegal immigrants on his truck to the police.
Now despite or because of this I’ve tried to see the bigger picture and identify the real culprits who we should be blaming for this situation, but I still get angry with them when I have problems caused by their actions or I am crawling round my truck in the early hours of the morning looking for them, So I can understand and sympathise why somebody who might not be as rational as me takes direct action.

Fully understand what you are saying but personally I would have called the police no matter how long they took to come.I would not want the hassle and the incrimination if anything happened to these passengers even though they should not be there.
In my view half the problems in this country are caused with bad attitude and it’s exactly the same on the roads these days.

Well I for one urge you to ignore the naysayers mate. I’ll also add that I admire immensely your humanitarian stance on the subject of these poor unfortunates, it also goes without saying that I’m mightily impressed that you shoulder without complaint the financial burden of actually housing a number of these asylum seekers in your own home. Well done you, there’s not many who are prepared to back up their words with actions. You do house a number of them don’t you? Of course you do, otherwise it would merely be posturing and talking ■■■■ without actually doing anything wouldn’t it?
